Occupational safety and health objectives 2013 - 2018
In the years 2013 - 2018, the German government, the federal states and the accident insurance institutions concentrated their prevention activities on three joint occupational safety and health objectives:
- the improvement in the organisation of company occupational safety and health
- a reduction in work-related health hazards and musculoskeletal disorders
- the protection and strengthening of health in the case of work-related mental load
To implement these objectives, the GDA has started three work programmes - one programme for each objective. GDA work programmes directly address the issue of safety and health at company level. The programmes support employers, the management, employees as well as OSH experts in order to improve safety and health at work.
They were operated jointly by the federal government, the states and the accident insurance. The implementation phase was closed in 2018.
