Methodical occupational health and safety pays off

Improving the organisation of occupational health and safety

The benefits of work stations with a safe and healthy design are substantial: healthy employees mean a higher level of productivity and less downtime in production. To ensure companies can guarantee and continuously improve health and safety at the workplace, they need appropriate and functioning occupational health and safety organisations. The better these organisations are integrated into company processes and decisions, the more effective they are.

The offers developed within the GDA Organisation work programme help companies examine and improve their occupational health and safety organisation, and focus on two fields in particular:

  • risk assessments as a key instrument of occupational health and safety
  • improving the integration of safety and health protection matters into company processes and decisions

The work programme offers at a glance

This programme is implemented using a combination of information offers, consultation and supervisory measures. In the course of this, it is important to remember that no two companies are the same – which means activities need to be tailored to individual needs.
